Roadmap

Phase 1: Concept (completed)

• Idea creation: Outline idea of the Dapp.

• Technical Blueprint: Outline the app’s architecture, ensuring smooth integration of pedometer tracking and NFT holding verification.

Phase 2: UI/UX Design (End of Nov 24)

• Smart Contract Development: Begin developing in building blocks (open source).

• User Interface Design: Design a simple, intuitive app interface focusing on step tracking and rewards display.

• First Sneakpeeks.

Phase 3: Development of Core Features (End of Nov 24)

• Step Tracking System: Build the core pedometer functionality through API.

• B3TR Token Reward System: Implement the reward mechanism where users earn a set amount of B3TR tokens per 1000 steps.

• Multipliers/extra rewards: Develop the initial multiplier system for Corgi Gang NFT holders + the extra rewards for vet.domain names.

• Back-End Development: Build the necessary infrastructure to handle user data, steps, and token distribution securely.

Phase 4: Testing (End of Nov 24)

• Beta Testing: Conduct a round of closed beta testing (testnet) with a group of users to gather feedback on core functionalities (step tracking, rewards, multipliers).

• Bug Fixes & Enhancements: Resolve any technical bugs or usability issues.

Phase 5: Full Rollout & Launch (End of Nov 24)

• App Launch: Release the Dapp on mainnet with full functionality for step tracking, rewards, and basic NFT multipliers.

• User Onboarding: Create onboarding tutorials and guides to help users set up their wallets and begin earning tokens (YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Discord).

• Marketing Campaign: Announce the launch (Twitter Spaces, Discord announcements,...)

Phase 6: Post-Launch Enhancements (1-3 months after launch)

• Feature Expansion: Begin work on new features, such as NFT rank-based multipliers and challenge systems (leaderboards, group challenges), exhaust on NFTs.

• Leaderboard & Challenges: Develop and roll out leaderboards to create friendly competition, as well as custom challenges that reward users for achieving milestones or streaks.

• User Feedback & Updates: Regularly collect user feedback and make updates to the app based on community input.

Phase 7: Long-Term Vision (Ongoing)

• Challenges & Competitions: Expand on the challenge system with enhanced rewards for top performers.

• Extra feature: Amount of calories burned by walking are going to give extra rewards. A progress bar in health benefits which can be claimed after completing. Walking tweets to improve the rewards!

• Future NFT Utility: Explore adding further utility to Corgi Gang NFTs and potentially other NFTs in the future, allowing for higher rewards and exclusive benefits.

• Growth & Community Engagement: Foster an engaged community and explore potential partnerships or collaborations with other apps, wellness initiatives, and the broader VeChain ecosystem.
